MOPS is a group of moms who meet bi-monthly on the first and third Thursday of the month to listen, love, share, and grow. We will kick-off the new theme “To The Full” on Thurs., September 19 at 6 pm.
Are you breathing just a little, and calling it a life?* Sometimes we need the reminder that life is meant to be lived to the full. That it is OK to enjoy ourselves, to let our hair down, to worry less. Because as far as we can tell, this is exactly how God intended for us to live – fully and abundantly.
It’s easy to forget what that feels like, though. One day we’re wide-eyed and the possibilities are endless, and then slowly, without even realizing it, we find ourselves dulled by the routines and disappointments that are a part of being human. We slowly start to lose our optimism and zest for life. Join us on the first and third Thursdays from 6-730 for a year of living “To The Full”. Our first meeting for this school-year is Thursday, September 19. For more information, contact Sherry Sampson in the Church Office.
Meetings start with a light dinner and then there is a relevant topic video or speaker, lots of discussion, and sometimes a special activity or craft. Child-care is provided by church members in the Crib Room.
The dinner is available for the helpers and MOPPETS too. MOPS meetings end at 730 so there is time to get the little ones
home and settled for the night at a decent time.
Feel free to bring a friend and try us out for a few meetings. You will love this open, caring group of ladies.
